Give your home a little history with Retro Tessellated, a collection of matt porcelain tiles inspired by traditional European and Victorian geometric floors. Classic octagons, decorative mosaics and contrasting black, white and pale grey tones bring lasting character to villas, bungalows and contemporary homes with a love of period detail.
Choose the layered geometry of Glasgow City Classic, the coordinated Leeds Horsforth and Unimix layout, or the familiar elegance of white octagons with black inserts. Matching borders, plain square infill tiles and optional floral inserts help you create a complete design, from the centre pattern to the finishing edge.
Mesh-mounted patterns help organise the small tile pieces into repeating layouts. Use the collection to create a welcoming entrance, a character-filled bathroom or a kitchen floor with a timeless sense of style.

Primary category: Traditional + Heritage-Inspired
Retro Tessellated captures the ordered geometry and decorative detailing of period tilework. Its contrasting monochrome palette, repeating motifs, and framed borders make it a natural fit for villas, bungalows and traditional interiors, while also introducing a heritage accent to simpler contemporary spaces.
Create a strong outline or a simple field of colour with Retro Tessellated Uni Black. This 100 × 100 mm matt porcelain tile brings depth and definition to classic floor and wall designs. It is the recommended edge infill for the Leeds tessellated scheme and can also be combined with Uni White to create a classic chequerboard layout, subject to the tiler's set-out.
NB: This tile is available to view in our Hastings showroom and can also be viewed in our Taupō showroom on request.
