Boho / Maximalist

Bohemian / Maximalist Design Style

Vibrant, expressive, and unapologetically authentic — this style celebrates individuality. Boho + Maximalist design layers colour, pattern, texture, and treasured objects to create a home full of soul and storytelling. Your space is your canvas, and every piece adds meaning, energy, and personality.

You’re drawn to Moroccan zellige, jewel-toned walls, rattan pendants, and plush textiles — the kind of eclectic mix that feels joyful, curated, and deeply personal. Think velvet daybeds, embroidered cushions, artisanal ceramics, and tiles that look like they’ve travelled the world with you.

"An interior is the natural projection of the soul." - Coco Chanel

Design Tips to Channel Your Boho + Maximalist Style

1. Start with a foundation

Choose a statement tile — Moroccan-inspired, encaustic-look, terrazzo, or richly patterned porcelain — as your anchor. Then layer colour, artwork, and décor around it to build depth and personality.

2. Repeat patterns with purpose

Mixing is magical, but repetition brings cohesion. Pull tones from your hero tile into textiles, wall art, or accessories to create rhythm instead of chaos.

3. Let your space evolve

Your style thrives on change. Add to your gallery wall, rearrange your ceramics, or swap a mirror cluster into the mix. Boho + Maximalist design is meant to grow with you.
