Fashion icon Iris Apfel turned her unique style and love of bold colours into a fun and stylish homeware range. Go bold with your tile colour choices and live a colourful life.
At Tile Shed our main supplier (Tile Space) selects tiles from Italy, Spain and around the world. With visits to the Cersaie tile fair in Bologna, Italy every year it's easy to stay on top of upcoming trends and select products known for their outstanding performance.
With what feels like an endless supply of bright colours and playful patterns to choose from there is an incredible amount of design options that will help you live a colourful life too.
Check out some of our favourite colourful life options below!
Bright & colourful tiles
Shades by La Faenza is one of our most colourful ranges. It is inspired by colours found in nature like solar hues of yellow and the orange, red and blue found in marine life. These Italian made wall tiles come 9 colours and 3 mosaics. This a great choice if you want to make a statement in any room.

If going bold with colour isn't your thing consider going bold with 3D tiles. They are always an interesting feature and never fail to create a wow-factor. Bisazza Frozen Garden by Marcel Wander is a hexagon shape, statement tile that looks magnificent as a feature wall. Available in black and white and with an additional floral option.
Decorative tiles are becoming a popular way of making that statement. We have hundreds of decorative tiles that are suitable for floors as well as walls. Many of our clients opt to use the same tile from floor to ceiling, to create the illusion of a larger roomier space.
Not all tiles are rectangle or square. Tiles come in so many different shapes and sizes and when selecting tiles for your space ask one of our consultants to show you the different patterns they can be laid into. You might like to try something different from the classic subway and opt for a herringbone or basket weave laying pattern for modern look. Mosaic tiles come on a sheet already laid out in an interesting pattern to help you along the way like the Microtiles collection below.
Custom Designs with Bisazza
This magnificent bathroom features a custom-made Bisazza mosaic, available exclusively from Tile Space and Tile Space Resellers (such as the Tile Shed). This mosaic is based on the Hanami Azzuro pattern, by Carlo Del Bianco. In this situation the mosaic size didn't fit the clients bathroom and the colours were not ideal for her husbands bathroom, so with the Tile Space Design Consultant John Kaminski, a custom design was made. The bisazza mosaic was manufactured in Italy and made to fit the exact dimensions for both bathrooms.
