Every colour has the ability to invoke a different mood or feeling.
Let's put the spotlight on the colour blue - a colour that is strongly associated with rest and relaxation because of its soothing, calming feel. Blue is thought to be good for the mind and body. Research shows that it slows our metabolism and produces a calming effect.
When your styling your home consider how rich emerald greens and deep blues can work for many different spaces.

Manhattan Jeans from FAP Ceramiche
Manhattan Jeans from FAP Ceramiche, is one of our personal favourites and it is no surprise it is also one of our top sellers. It has a range of colour choices but the one that springs to mind when talking about colour is Manhattan Jeans. This image below shows how a blue subway tile can completely transform a space. The way this customer has styled this bathroom with the ropes and woven baskets, creating a very beach-like, nautical feel. Click Here to view the range.
Shades from La Faenza
The Shades range from La Faenza is one of our most vibrant ranges with a collection of colours to put a smile on anyones face. We are seeing a lot of interest in the aqua - blue shades with their matching mosaic - the Fishscale. The Shades range has drawn its inspiration from natural light and colours, with the blue hues representing aquatic marine life.

Corso from Vives Ceramica
The soothing look of this delicate blue tile make them a perfect choice for bathroom walls. The lighter shades of blue create a softness in the space, therefore allowing it to still be quite a neutral colour palette while also keeping it light bright and airy. The colours Turquesa and Azul are ideal for this look.
Camp from Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica
Industrial looks dont have to be dark and dreary. The Diesel range creates a moody, urban feel in a space. Camp Blue (pictured below) is a new alternative to the classic subway. This trendy subway tile is available in 4 colours; White, Blue, Grey and Black and 3 finishes; Satin, Semi-Polish and Gloss. We recommend mixing up the finishes when laying to create an eye-catching and unique look. Add the Diesel Concrete White to a space to lighten the room as well.
